Høje Taastrup Fjernvarme a.m.b.a is the largest consumer-owned district heating company in Denmark.

We cover 70% of the heating in the municipality and provide sustainable, secure, and cheap district heating and cooling to our customers.

We are a part of the large district heating system in Greater Copenhagen.

Our district heating is based on:

• Combined heat and power from sustainable biomass
• Waste incineration
• Large heat pumps utilizing local energy resources
• We are a non-profit organization.
• Heat sales per year approx. 1,000 TJ
