Poland and Denmark focus strongly on applying green technologies, which are crucial to modern urban solutions and tackling environmental challenges European cities are facing. Poland is one of the biggest district heating markets in Europe, while Denmark has since three decades tested innovative green solutions in urban development. The lessons-learned and experiences gathered shall be discussed in the framework of the Green District Heating seminar, which will take place on 14th of March in the Eigtveds Pakhus (Strandgade 25, 1401 København K) from 9:30 to 14:00 hrs. The purpose is to strengthen the Polish – Danish dialogue and cooperation in the field of district heating, in particular the development of district heating networks and implementation of solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency. The main objective of the seminar is to discuss both, the rich Danish experiences gathered on local level, as well as Polish experiences, expectations and policies with regards to district heating and energy efficiency.
Participation of a delegation of about 10-12 institutions, companies (including district heating companies), regional representatives from Poland is to be expected.
