A new recurrent initiative from DBDH: DBDH Horisont: Inspiration | Viden | Vin (DBDH Horizon: Inspiration – Knowledge – Wine) was held for the first time on May 20.

The event included two interesting presentations which put focus on the Danish export opportunities:

”Non-profit; an advantage for Danish export” w. Peter Heymann Andersen, Executive Director, Ramboll. Will a privatisation of the Danish district heating Companies resulting in cheaper heating and strengthen the export of Danish products and knowledge.

”Why is the legislation regarding district heating and district cooling different – why not repeat a succes?” w. Bent Ole Gram Mortensen, Professor, Syddansk Universitet. We see a far too slow roll-out of district cooling in Denmark compared to Sweden and Finland. Bent Ole provided suggestions for district cooling to gain a footing in Denmark.
