From the 15th to the 17th of June a delegation of 11 representatives from the Polish DH industry visited Denmark. The visit was a natural “second step” after good relations were created during the Royal visit to Poland back in May, where the Danish DH industry was represented together with DBDH. The delegation visit was arranged in corporation with the polish DH-organization, IGCP and the Danish Embassy in Warsaw.
Doing the busy two days stay, the Polish delegation got a chance to meet the Danish DH industry; see how the plants work; and find potential partners for developing the Polish DH sector. The first day began in North Jutland with a visit to Logstor District Heating Company. The next day, on the 16th, the delegation visited the town Skive, and Skive’s new biomass gasification plant. The day ended with a networking dinner in Odense, Funen.
On the 17th,the delegation visited Funen District Heating Company to see a modern Danish DH plant. Focus was here on the local solutions for energy metering, tariffs and energy saving. After the site visit, there was a networking session between the Polish delegation and the DBDH members. As a last part of the trip was a visit to the nearby waste to energy CHP.
The delegation visit strengthen the co-operation between the Polish DH sector and the DBDH members. Next step in this partnership will be a DBDH roadshow to Poland from 5 to 10 October. The roadshow will give the DBDH members a chance to visit the Polish representatives on their own plants, and follow up on the new contacts.
The Polish delegation included:
DBDH members participating were Danfoss, Grundfos, Kamstrup, OE3i, SSM and Aaen A/S.
