North American universities visit Denmark to study low temperature DH

Date: 10/05/2017

A delegation of nine North American universities visited Denmark from the 3rd-5th May. Together with the Danish Embassy in Washington, DBDH invited universities that are close to or have decided to convert their DH system from steam to hot water. The participating Danish companies and utilities got direct connections to people at the universities who are responsible for DH and had interesting conversations about Danish experiences with low temperature district heating.

We had the honor of welcoming the following participating universities: Dartmouth, Oberlin College, University of New Hampshire, Cornell, Penn State, Bates College, Brock University (Canada), Sheridan College (Canada), Ever-Green Energy. All the universities are leading and respected in their respective fields of study.
