New general manager of Ramboll’s energy operations in the US

Ramboll has announced the hiring of Daniel Lee Kelley. As of 1 January 2017 Kelley will represent Ramboll as the new General Manager of Ramboll’s energy operations in the US.

Kelley earned his Bachelor of Science in marine engineering from Maine Maritime Academy and has since specialised in energy and power generation. With over two decades of experience with project management and multidiscipline engineering within the energy industry, Kelley is a perfect fit for the task of heading Ramboll’s energy efforts in the US.

Kelley comes from a position as Senior Vice President and Service Line Leader with Woodard & Curran, Inc. and will in his new position with Ramboll take the lead on strategic business development and secure consulting and engineering services to meet the needs of clients across markets locally, focusing on the New England area. His focus will be within district energy systems and energy master planning for campuses and cities. His experience includes power plant design, construction, commissioning, and operations and maintenance as well as both new greenfield projects and supporting existing facilities with plant services and plant engineering. Kelley has spent the first part of his career commissioning biomass, oil fired, combined cycle gas turbine, and simple cycle gas turbine plants and has also worked as a gas turbine field service engineer for a major supplier performing commissioning, performance testing and aftermarket support services.
