New district heating connection in West Zealand

Date: 10/08/2017

About 100 km west of Copenhagen, isoplus delivered custom made pipes for a large scale project expanding the district heating net in the area.

An important step in the project is connecting two parts of town on each side of the harbour where the first of the two pipes dived 17 m under ground Thursday last week. The 355/520 mm pipes are pulled inside an 800 mm PE jacket to get the pipes safely through the 210 m long tunnel.

The two pipes will be joined at the new straw-fueled DH plant ready to supply the local area with heating in October 2018.
