The Ramboll Foundation has appointed Claus Valentin Hemmingsen as the new chairman of the board for the Ramboll Group. He succeeds Jeff Gravenhorst, who has chosen to step down after nine years in the position.

He is one of the “heavyweights” in Danish business and is an experienced board chairman. Claus Valentin Hemmingsen, former Deputy CEO of A.P. Moller-Maersk and CEO of the Energy Division, is the new chairman of the board for Ramboll Group, where he has been vice chairman for the past year.
Helle Østergaard Kristiansen, CEO of the international energy trading house Danske Commodities, also joins as vice chairman of Ramboll’s board. “Ramboll is a company with a long history and strong values, tremendous potential, and a clear strategy that shows a clear path forward for how the company should contribute to driving sustainable change for customers and society. Therefore, I am happy and proud of the trust the Ramboll Foundation and the board have shown me.
