The company has a successful track record, having delivered over 100 projects since its inception. Notably, it has developed and is the operator of the £87m Greenwich Peninsula network. With 87MW of heat capacity, it will eventually serve 15,700 residential units, making it one of the largest networks in the country.
Pinnacle Power provides end-to-end solutions for district energy networks, employing experienced and specialised personnel across every phase of heat networks development and operation; funding, design and build, operation and maintenance, customer services and metering and billing, all of which are delivered in-house.
Pinnacle Power has dedicated funding to provide city scale decarbonisation and plans to invest in decarbonised heat networks throughout the UK. Pinnacle are looking to deploy over £1bn into decarbonised heat networks, supporting the energy transition, and using local and wasted heat to provide low carbon, low cost heat, into dense urban environments.
By 2050, over 18% of the UK’s heat demand will have to be met by heat networks.
