Høje Taastrup District Heating Company is a consumer-owned district heating company. It is part of the complex CHP system that covers most of Greater Copenhagen.
The company was established on 1 January 1992 by the merger of the consumer-owned Taastrup Heating Plant and the municipal heat supply in Høje Taastrup. The establishment took the form of a cooperative society with limited liability. The company is thus owned by the heat consumers.
The daily management is handled by the managing director. The company´s management is a board of nine members.
