Martin Lidegaard: District heating is the alpha and omega in the Danish energy

Date: 25/01/2013

District heating is the alpha and omega of the Danish energy supply. Those were the words by Climate, Energy and Building Minister Martin Lidegaard in Børsen this week.

Without district heating the Danish energy consumption would be 11 percent larger, according to Martin Lidegaard.

District heating can replace some of the natural gas currently used for domestic heating. This not only provides environmental benefits, it also offers lower prices for consumers,” says Martin Lidegaard.
