Large order for Aalborg Engineering

Date: 10/11/2016

The Aalborg company has secured a contract worth 100 million DKK in Poland.

Together with the local partner Control Process, Aalborg Engineering will deliver two new boiler installations. The customer is the Polish company Tameh, which is a joint venture between steel giant Arcelor Mittal and energy supplier Tauron.

The project consists of two SteamGen 4-boilers, which  will burn excess gases from the steel production, which is now being burned into the atmosphere. “At Aalborg Engineering we are delighted to win this contract. With this project we are taking in a new and growing market for incineration of surplus gas. There are several similar projects underway along with more traditional projects for Aalborg Engineering”, says Ole Roesdahl, CEO of Aalborg Engineering.
The project will be installed in 2017 and be ready for operation in 2018.
