For the second time DBDH participated in the Polish District Heating Forum hosted by the city of Międzyzdroje on 10-13 September 2017. This year, 10 Danish companies joined the Danish stand at this Forum which is by far the largest event of the heating sector in Poland and are attended by more than 600 people who gather for 3 days of seminars and debates in parallel with a comprehensive exhibition in Miedzyzdroje. The Danish exhibition had a center position with 10 Danish companies present: Arcon-Sunmark, Broen, Cowi, Dall Energy, Danfoss, Desmi, Kamstrup, Lin-ka, Molson, Steelcon. Opening of the exhibition attracted a large number of guests and took place at the Danish stand, with Opening speeches by the President of Polish Chamber of District Heating, Mr. Jacek Szymczak.
During the exhibition days, a lot of Polish visitors came by the Danish stand to talk to the Danish companies about their solutions and technologies. New technologies were also presented during the seminars, when Danish companies participated in “New Technology Day” with presentations. A Danish lottery was arranged at the joint stand, which attracted great attention, with three drawings during the exhibition. The main prize, an iPAD 32 GB, was won by Mr. Tadeusz Sniadala, Energa Cieplo Ostroleka – a well known customer to many of the Danish companies!

At this event mayors and politicians met with scientists and manufacturers from leading district heating businesses to discuss district heating in building the city of the future. The Danish participation was co-arranged by Danish Embassy in Warsaw and DBDH, and will be repeated at next year’s event in September 2018.
