Front-Runner Cities II – Dutch-Danish collaboration about heat planning and District Heating

Heating in the Netherlands is almost exclusively based on natural gas, but a sustainable transition has started. With municipalities taking an active role, and with heat planning and district heating as essential tools.

This project is a continuation of close Dutch-Danish collaborations, and the activities are designed to support a group of Dutch municipalities through dialogue with Dutch and Danish experts.

The involved Dutch municipalities are Almere, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn, Assen, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Gouda, Heerenveen, Hengelo, Leeuwarden, Nieuwegein, Rotterdam, Sudwest-Frysland, Utrecht.
