Frese Group has appointed Ulrich Gammelgaard as the new CFO and Peter Agneborn as the new CCO. Both will join CEO René Barington in the executive management team.

With this strengthened executive team, Frese, headquartered in Slagelse, is embarking on a new chapter in its growth journey, which has seen an average annual growth rate of around 10% in recent years.

“We are incredibly pleased that Peter and Ulrich have chosen to contribute to Frese’s continued growth. We have high expectations for the future, and we know that further growth requires having experienced and competent people on our team. We have that now,” says René Barington, CEO of Frese.

Ulrich Gammelgaard comes from a position as Vice President for Finance & Performance Management at Velux. Ulrich has solid experience in finance, IT, and complex supply chains within production and logistics. “Frese is a very attractive company with a deep value chain. For example, we develop sustainable products, we have complex logistics chains, and we have global sales in growing markets. In short, there are many exciting tasks to get involved in,” says Ulrich Gammelgaard.

Peter Agneborn was most recently employed as Divisional Sales & Marketing Director at IMI Hydronic Engineering. Peter has extensive industry experience, and he will have overall responsibility for sales and marketing. “I look forward to using my extensive experience in sales and marketing, particularly from the industry, to contribute to further growth in a company known for, among other things, innovative products of very high quality. Products that, in many cases, help reduce CO2 emissions for our partners,” says Peter Agneborn.

Today, Frese is both a leading player in the global market for dynamic valve technology for controlling heating and cooling systems and the leading metal and steel foundry in the Nordic region. The company has a comprehensive product portfolio, serves diverse international customer segments across several sectors, and has production facilities in multiple locations worldwide.

“It is no exaggeration to say that we are looking at an exciting future where all parts of our business become more complex,” says René Barington. “With the expansion of the executive management team, we can now fully focus on all parts of the company.”
