Fjernvarme Fyn is a non-profit and Denmark’s third largest district heating company. We cover about 97% of the heat demand in Odense and Otterup – more than 80,000 residential units. Fjernvarme Fyn is owned by the municipality of Odense (97%) and North Funen Municipality (3%).

District heating Fyn is owned by Odense and Nordfyn Municipality. The company owns the largest combined heat and power plants on Funen, has almost 300 employees, and is one of Europe’s largest heat supplies. We cover approximately 97% of the heating needs in Odense and the surrounding area, corresponding to more than 100,000 homes, industrial companies, and institutions.
The district heating supply takes place according to the general guidelines specified in the heating plan, which determines supply areas and more.
Service goals
Fjernvarme Fyn’s goal is to provide customers with the best possible heat supply at the lowest possible prices and, at the same time, contribute to increased energy and environmental awareness among customers.
