Webinar on District Cooling in India

DBDH, in collaboration with the Trade Council in India and APUEA, is hosting a webinar aimed at offering Danish companies valuable insights into the promising opportunities within India's District Cooling Market. The event will facilitate discussions on potential collaborations and the promotion of environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions.

The webinar is scheduled on 28 June 2023 at 10.00 – 12.00 (CET) / 13.30 – 15.30 (IST).

India is going to be the world’s most populated country in 2023, the rising demand for cooling is inevitable. Currently, it is witnessing rising temperatures and heat stress due to climate change and requires massive cooling infrastructure to mitigate negative impacts on health and productivity. India Cooling Action Plan (ICAP) was launched in 2019 by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, providing the much-needed policy push for sustainable cooling.

The Webinar is a forerunner for the Danish participation at the District Cooling International Conference in Goa, 31^ST  October and 1^ST November that is held prior to the AEE international conference Energise.
