Visit to North Rhine-Westphalia

In close cooperation with the Danish Embassy in Berlin, DBDH organises a 2 day event in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). We would like you to save the dates for an exciting opportunity to learn more about the district heating developments in NRW.

NRW is the most populous state in Germany with a high concentration of industrial companies and a, in a Germany context, well established DH-system. Based on a feasibility study on the perspectives for DH in NRW, the state is now developing ambitious plans to expand the existing heat grid. Basically, the feasibility study proved that there is a significant potential in expanding DH in the larger cities and further integrate the industry into the DH system, and consequently the state is seeking to exploit this potential.

In 2015 a large-scale DH project, the Fernwärmeschiene Rhein Ruhr (FWSRR), was initiated with the purpose of connecting the DH-grids in the Lower Rhine and Ruhr area, and to integrate additional industrial heat and renewable energy sources. The Danish Embassy and DBDH is in good dialogue with the managing consortium of the FWSRR, that has expressed a great interest in sparring with Danish practitioners and industry experts to find the best solutions.

Price: DKK 9,900.00 pr. company. If you plan on being more than 1 representative pr. company, the price will be DKK 11,900.00. The price includes the two seminars and the dinner Monday evening.

Travel and accommodation are not included in the price, therefore you are asked to book yourself. There are many hotel in the area just west of the Hbf and in walking distance to the NRW Bank.
