13. June 2022 - 14. June 2022

united kingdom flag

District heating in both Scotland and England is developing fast. The national governments, step by step, implement new framework conditions that support district heating, and many cities work hard to establish their system and develop the ones already in place.

The UK is an important market for Danish companies. We invite you to participate in the visit to Denmark from distinguished guests from England and Scotland on the 13-14th June 2022. The visit is co-organized by the Danish Embassy in London and DBDH.

Whom

The participants will be representatives from BEIS, the Scottish Government, cities, and district heating companies, of which some are taking part in the DBDH-led mentor-mentee program. The group comes to Denmark to learn how to develop district heating and get inspiration from Danish cases, so the program is built around visits to Danish district heating companies.

What

You are invited to participate in the whole tour and join the bus around to the different site visits and the dinner on Monday 13 June. You are welcome to get a short 10 min. case presentation at one of the site visits. You are also welcome to suggest a topic to be discussed for the “Open Workshop.” See the below preliminary draft program (TBC).

Price for this event:

The price for participation in the two-day visit to Denmark (per company):
5.600 DKK (ex. VAT) (one representative pr. company)
1,500 DKK for one extra representative
The visit is co-sponsored by the Danish Trade Council. The prices are dependent on the company´s ability to receive support under the de minimis rules.

We hope you will participate in this delegation visit and make sure our UK guests learn a lot about modern district heating.
