Two days of district heating in Lille

Together with Metropole Lille, The Danish embassy in Paris and DBDH we invite you to take part in a seminar in Lille May 23rd and two site visit the day after. The Metropole Lille has great ambitions to expand their existing networks and build new ones as well. The focus in Lille is on “In the next decades, we identified in Lille that we have to work on low/very low temperature networks, thermal storage, recovering of waste heat, district cooling, connecting individual households and end users participation.

We will invite more than 300 participants to the seminar and have put together a program that will brief you on the developments in Lille, give ample opportunities to network, present solutions and take part in discussions and one to one meetings. As usual we will invite a Danish practitioner to take part in this event. The overall seminar program includes:

  • An overview of the plan and ambitions in Metropole Lille
  • Presentation from local district heating companies and cities
  • After lunch we present Danish inspired solutions to 4 relevant themes – your company is invited to chip in as a member of a panel
  • Round tables: Different local district heating companies invite all participants to join round table discussion about their specific challenge
  • And finally networking and one to one meetings

On day 2 we will do two site visits and have a presentation and discussion with Dalkia. First the plant Alma at Roubaix and then a visit to Le Madeleine.

For more details take a look at the attached draft program – timing is still not finalised 100% – your input is highly appreciated.
