Export promotion Bristol and other cities in South England

Two days visit – date TBC

October 30th “South England DH developments” Seminar
Venue: Bristol City Hall
All day program
Our primary event will be a large seminar.

The program has been co-developed and will be co-hosted by Bristol City Council (see draft program). The audience will be invited widely among all partners e.g. cities, contractors, energy companies, NHS, universities, housing associations. We will focus on South England, but we will invite widely across the UK. List of invited organisations and persons will be made available to all who take part.

The program will consist of input from both Danish and English side. BEIS and Bristol City Council will be among the presenters at the seminar. We have invited a minister and mayors. Further we will make amble room for networking. We have included 3 camp sessions, where specific challenges from Bristol and others will be presented and discussed – an opportunity to really understand the challenges met by the participants, and to network.

You are invited to present innovative and new solutions during the seminar.

October 31st Workshops with Local Authorities and other partners
The following day we will have separate meetings in the form of workshops with selected local authorities and other partners. Each workshop will be based on the specific topics suggested by the participants. Bristol City Council will host one of these workshops. Details will be developed during the next weeks.

You are most welcome to suggest relevant meetings/workshops you would like us to organise.

October 31st “Bristol City Leap Program“
Workshop – TBC
Bristol endeavor to have their City Leap Program finished for publication during our visit. If possible we will take part in a workshop on that specific program. More to follow on the CLP!

This may substitute one of the above meetings.

Morten Abildgaard from Viborg District Heating company will take part in this program as our expert.
