Delegation visit from Darthmouth
For members of DBDH:
Dartmouth College has decided to build a large hot water district heating system based on biomass. In 2017 Darthmouth participated in a US University study tour to Denmark and now they are bringing a group of 20 – 25 persons to Denmark to make a similar study tour. The group is a mix of project people, high level decision makers from Darthmouth, professors, students, alumnis, members of the city council of Hanover etc.
DBDH will arrange a District Energy Accelerator Seminar the 11 September 16.00 – 19.00 at Frederiksberg. This will be your opportunity to engage with this group of people, who are soon to build a new hot water DH system based on biomass.
The program will look like the following:
Intro Seminar / Lars Hummelmose, DBDH
Short intro to all participants 29 sec. each
- Presentation of district energy project by Dartmouth College
- Presentation of potential district energy project in Hanover /City of Hanover
- Key Note 1 presentation on implications and solutions for Biomass CHP including logistic of biomass /TBC
- Key Note 2 presentation on rolling out District Energy in a city and the upgrade of buildings / TBC
- Visit to the control room, to the rooftop with solar panels and visit to the district cooling of Frederiksberg Utility
- Standing buffet and presentation of case stories on key DH technologies (DK companies)
Price for participation
– site visit show casing: 5,000 DKK
– participation with a 5 min. case story and roll-up in the District Energy Accelerator Seminar: 3,000 DKK
The payment is to cover some of the costs for the seminar and the work for setteing up a 3 day program for the group.
