Expansions connecting 5600 new customers
By the end of 2022, the city council has approved expansion projects connecting 5600 new customers to the district heating network. The district heating expansions will result in a 5-fold increase in heat sales.
Various types of heat pumps and surplus heat
The heat for the new customers will be produced on air-to-water heat pumps, and heat pumps on wastewater and surplus heat from businesses. Another option is the interconnection with other companies to cover a part of the heat demand.
