DBDH, The Danish Trade Council and the Embassy of Denmark in Paris is inviting to a district heating export promotion visit to France from the 3rd to the 5th of November 2014.
The recent years, the demand for district heating technology in France has increased significantly. This summer, a new law project has been launched underlining a significant number of focus areas, where France must increase its effort on energy consumption and efficiency in relation to district heating. This development is a direct consequence of the EU action that 20 % of its energy consumption must be based on renewable sources by 2020.
It is DBDH’s intention that this visit will serve as a follow-up on the very interesting meetings and site visits the DBDH delegation had in 2012 in Paris. The overall objective for this export promotion visit is to gain market knowledge on the French market amongst the Danish suppliers of district heating technologies. In addition, the objective is to introduce the French counterparts to what the stakeholders from the Danish district heating industry can offer in terms of technologies, systems and know-how.
