DH road show to Poland: Warsaw and regions

With the headline “District Heating – How to Move from 2G to 3G and from 3G to 4G” and a focus on strengthening the Danish-Polish cooperation with district heating and cooling, eight DBDH companies participated in the Danish District Heating Road Show in Poland from the 6th to the 9th June. The event was organized in cooperation with the Royal Danish Embassy in Warsaw and the Polish Chamber of District Heating, IGCP. The Road Show was kicked off with a seminar and workshops on above theme held at the Embassy in Warsaw, where several interesting presentations took place with topics such as energy efficiency, energy saving, financing possibilities and introduction of more renewable energy to district heating systems.

The seminar was followed by a trip to the Central Poland where the Danish companies visited district heating utilities operating in the area of Lodz, Czestochowa and Kielce. In Lodz the Danish delegation visited Veolia Energy, with other interesting utilities participating as well, and engaged in workshops with maintenance engineers and area managers.

The venue the Danish delegation where in invited to in Czestochowa, was Fortum Power&Heat, where once again other utilities in the region were represented.

Lastly, the delegation visited MPEC in Kielce and participated in mentioned workshops alongside different representatives from utilities in the region.

ABB, Arcon-Sunmark, Broen, European Energy and Climate Academy, Logstor, Ross DK, Weiss and Rambøll.
