DBDH was very glad to receive a Japanese delegation from Ogata Village on September 16th, 2015. Led by Mr. Hiroto Takahashi, Mayor at the Ogata Village Office, the group comprised 15 high-level stakeholders interested in Danish solutions utilizing energy from biomass.
Ogata Village has received funding from the Japanese government and is currently evaluating which heating system to adopt. The focus of the visit was to learn more about the Danish heating infrastructure and utilization of biomass boilers.
Lars Hummelmose, managing director at DBDH, made a presentation about the Danish energy system. Later on, the delegation was taken on a tour around Frederiksberg Forsyning, the local utility company, to see the control room, peak load facility, district cooling system and heat exchange station.
