DBDH members meeting

by Kathrine

DBDH held the last members meeting of the year on 6 December 2018, focusing on three areas: DBDH’s strategy, Digitalization in the district heating industry and “Innovationstorvet” (the Innovation Quarter).

DBDH’s board of directors is working on a new and updated strategy that all members have contributed to in response to a questionnaire sent out in October. Following an analysis of the answers, part of the member meeting was dedicated to a presentation of the board’s proposal for a new strategy and a thorough discussion with all members. The board will work on the basis of the discussion and the final strategy will be ready for the general assembly in March.

Digitalization in the district heating industry is a major and highly relevant subject, and therefore experts in the field had been invited provide a general introduction to how digitization will affect the sector as well as identify barriers and perspectives in the three areas: production, distribution and building / consumer management. A debate closed the discussion, moderated by Morten Duedahl, DBDH.
