In the middle of February, the District Energy Alliance (DEA), along with a delegation of companies associated with the DEA, hit the road to visit a group of U.S. campuses that are in the process of developing and implementing district energy systems. After warm welcomes at MIT and Harvard, the delegation visited Dartmouth College and the University of New Hampshire before finishing the trip at Princeton University. Our team of experts were allowed to get an in depth understanding of the current systems and the plans for potential expansion, while offering input directly to the utility teams of the institutions.
Each stop shed a light on unique local conditions, and served to highlight the benefits of having a flexible approach to the North American market.
