The Chairman of DBDH, Lars Gullev gave a presentation on the Danish District Energy Model to the participants of the Boston Climate Innovations Study tour to Copenhagen. The Boston group consisted of high level participants from the Boston Green Ribbon Commission, the City of Boston, the state of Massachusetts, Veolia North America, the Barr Foundation and other key stakeholders within energy and environment. Boston want to develop a climate plan for the city and the group was interested in learning about the Danish experiences with low temperature district heating. Here they looked into how Boston could implement similar DH systems. Thursday evening, a reception was held by the Federation of Danish Industry and from here the fantastic view of Tivoli was enjoyed by the delegation.
