The 4DH Strategic Research Centre, the RE-INVEST project and Aalborg University invite researchers and experts from industry and businesses to the 3rd international Conference on Smart Energy Systems and 4th Generation District Heating. This year’s conference takes place at 12-13 September 2017 in Copenhagen.
The aim of this conference is to present and discuss scientific findings and industrial experiences related to the subject of Smart Energy Systems and future 4th Generation District Heating Technologies and Systems (4GDH). The conference is organized by the 4DH Strategic Research Centre in collaboration with Aalborg University. Twenty-five countries are represented among the 150 accepted abstracts, including Canada, USA, Japan, China, Vietnam and the European countries. The program consists of many new presenters compared to the two previous conferences and a new interesting tendency among the abstracts shows an increased collaboration between industrial and academic partners.
The conference takes place in Copenhagen, 12-13 September 2017, at The National Museum of Denmark (Ny Vestergade 10, 1471 Copenhagen).
FEE AND REGISTRATION Conference fee: 350 EUR (25% Danish VAT included) The fee includes: materials, coffee, lunches and conference dinner at the Tivoli Gardens. The conference is free for 4DH consortium members. Deadline for registration is 1 September 2017. Registration is binding.

Conference dinner
The conference dinner will take place at Restaurant Grøften, on 12 september at 19.30.Grøften is placed in the historic Tivoli Gardens and is one of Tivoli’s oldest and most traditional restaurants, with a history that goes back to 1874.
The participants will have the opportunity to visit Tivoli Gardens before the conference dinner.
SIDE EVENTS: TECHNICAL TOURS AND WORKSHOPS
Two technical tours will be organized by State of Green, inviting the conference participants to extend their stay in the city.

HEAT ROAD MAP EUROPE 4 and 4DH Workshop ‘Tools and methods for strategic analyses in heating and cooling: What is the state of the art and how to improve our tools?’ Featuring HRE4 and several other major H2020 projects.
