New order for Aalborg Engineering

Date: 18 September 2013

Aalborg Engineering has now received an order for a project in Israel, where they can actually put two needles in the reference map at one time.

The project, which consists of two boilers, will be built in two industrial areas in northern Israel, near the town of Nazareth.

One plant will supply energy for among other things a large dairy. In the second industrial area, the energy is used primarily on a polyester plant. The client is a local contractor, MW Group.

“It has been important to get a reference wiht this particular customer, who also operates in other markets in Europe and elsewhere in the Middle East. We must also use this project to show our qualities to the other departments of the group”, says sales director Bent Have Johnsen .

Away from the order drought
Aalborg Engineering will deliver two customized boilers for two gas turbines supplied by Siemens.

“The project , which has a value of approx. 75 million DKK, is seen as a sign of better times in our industry. We have for the past few years seen an order drought, so the order a few weeks ago to Russia and now this one in Israel are a cause for optimism”, says Bent Have Johnsen .

In Israel, Aalborg Engineering has previously supplied a gas turbine-boiler for the state oil refinery ORL in Haifa .

“We already have another project under construction in Israel. It is a boiler which is built by the Dead Sea. Thus, we have set a reference pin at the lowest spot on earth, approx. 420 meters below sea level”, says Bent Have Johnsen
