In connection with the EU project ReUseHeat, Grøn Energi, the Danish think tank regarding sustainable energy systems, has prepared a catalogue consisting of 24 good examples of how to utilise surplus Energy in Denmark as well as Europe. The examples will be part of a new manual about utilisation of surplus heat in the EU.

The purpose of ReUseHeat, which runs until 2012, is to examine and demonstrate utilisation of urban surplus heat in the EU. Four cities demonstrate the utilisation of urban surplus heat from a data center, waste water, a hospital’s cooling system as well as a metro station.
